The Odyssey is an upcoming epic movie set to premiere on July 17. However, before the fans of Greek mythology and Christopher Nolan get a chance to see the masterpiece, they can unlock the Odysseus skin in Fortnite. The skin will be obtainable for free on Wednesday, July 15, two days before the movie premieres.
In this guide, we will explain how you can grab the Fortnite skin for free. In addition to the skin, which is based on Matt Damon’s appearance, you will be able to unlock a few more cosmetics. For most of them, you will have to compete against other players. Others, however, you can unlock without worrying about your placement.
How to unlock the Odyssey skin in Fortnite?
To unlock the Odysseus skin in Fortnite, you will need to participate in the Odyssey Cup on Wednesday. The cup is split into two brackets, as PC and console players will compete against each other, while mobile players will have a separate tournament. To unlock the skin, you need to finish the tournament among the best players in your region.
Once again, the bigger the region, the more winners it has. Here is the placement for Battle Royale and Zero Build tournament, which is played in the Solo playlist. Top-ranked players will receive the Odysseus skin, his pickaxe, and a matching back bling.
