Invincible VS launched with 18 playable characters spanning heroes and villains from the popular comic book / Prime Video series of its namesake. The 3v3 tag fighter features the likes of Omni-Man, Invincible, and Atom Eve, but also deeper cuts from the franchise, as well. While our Invincible VS tier list and Invincible VS casting go into how the characters compare and who voices them, here we’re going through who each member of the roster is, and why you should consider learning them.

DLC characters
The first DLC characters for Invincible VS are Universa (Spring 2026) and The Immortal (Summer 2026). Two more characters will arrive in fall and winter 2026, increasing the roster size to 22 by the end of the year. The remaining characters have not yet been revealed, and Skybound will likely reveal them later this year.
Invincible’s uppercut and punches make him one of the most entertaining characters in the game. Image by FRVR
Invincible looks like one of the most entertaining characters in the fighting game so far. His punches make him a worthy opponent, and his Ultimate Ability allows him to launch the enemy in the air before slamming them back to the ground.
Abilities:
Geyser: Leaping Uppercut which hits twice on impact
Invincible Punch: Long range, dashing punch
Meteor: Boost to hit multiple times and causes ground bounce
Viltrumissile: A series of flying strikes that juggle the opponent, followed by an overhead stomp
Perfect Landing: Multi-hit, rushing uppercut, followed by an overhead that drives the opponent down to the ground
Meeting of the Minds (Ultimate): Launch the opponent high into the air, spike them back down to the ground, and follow it up with a brutal headbutt
Omni-Man / Nolan Grayson
Omni-Man brings his ground pound to Invincible VS. Image by FRVR
Playing with the powerful being on the planet in Invincible VS is a no-brainer. Omni-Man uses his powerful melee attacks to knock his opponents down, and his ultimate ability slams enemies through multiple buildings, only to finish them off by hurling a massive chunk of Earth at them.
“Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power” is probably how Nolan Grayson feels when looking at the other characters in the Invincible VS roster!
Abilities:
Ground Pound: Overhead punch that smashes the opponent’s face into the ground
Thoom: Medium-range projectile
Rising Uppercut: A leaping uppercut that launches an enemy
Pinball: Launcher followed by a series of back-and-forth mid-air hits, ending with a ground splat
No Escape: Grab opponent and slam them into the ground like a ragdoll, then hurl them away
Conquerer (Ultimate): Divebomb the opponent, slam them through multiple buildings before crushing them with a giant chunk of Earth
Dupli-Kate / Kate Cha
Dupli-Kate can send two duplicates with a boosted version of her attack. Image by FRVR
Dupli-Kate might be the most unique character in Invisible VS thanks to her ability to make copies of herself. She can duplicate herself several times and reabsorb her copies at will. On top of this, Kate Cha packs a lot of punch with her melee attacks, which can be replicated by her copies for additional damage.
Abilities:
Duplicity: Kate sends out a duplicate that can hit up or down to vary the duplicate’s attack to be a shoulder, overhead kick, or low slide
Each duplicate costs health to send out and tries to return to Kate automatically after. Boosted version sends out 2 duplicates
Chain Punch Rush: Dash to the enemy with multi-hit punches, recast for a chi strike, and if armored, spawn a clone with a flying kick
Rising Tide: Handspring kick launcher with a duplicate flipkick to follow up
Dragon Rush: Series of flying knee attacks that launch the opponent
Legion: Powers up to use a duplicate to repeat her attacks for a few seconds
Divide by Zero (Ultimate): Slide at the opponent, knocking them off their feet as her duplicates jump in to the fray, unleashing a devastating beatdown that ends with an exclamation point stomp
Atom Eve / Samantha Eve Wilkins
Atom Eve uses her energy to beat her opponents. Image by FRVR
What makes Atom Eve different is her ability to deal damage while keeping distance from her enemies. Samantha uses her ranged attacks to beat other characters in Invincible VS, and her increased mobility makes her a must-try fighter.
Abilities:
Hover: Hovers for a limited time
Roadblock: Launches a wave of energy towards her opponent
Boost amplifies the size, damage, and knockback of the projectile
Shatter: Creates a crystal construct a set distance in front of Eve, which knocks her opponent back
Maelstrom: Creates a hail of construct shards to rain down in front of her
Drill: Forms a construct drill around her, and she propels herself forward
Rebirth (Ultimate): Collapse after emitting a burst of energy, rising again in a powered-up form before releasing a massive surge of searing power
Invincible character roster in depth
Going in-depth on the Invincible VS roster
Invincible
About
Why you should play as them
Mark Grayson is the main character of the comic book and Prime Video series of the same name. He’s half-Viltrumite, half-human, and taught between both sides of his bloodline.
As the mascot for the 3v3 fighter, Invincible is the easiest to pick up, play, and understand, similar to Ryu from Street Fighter or Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.
Omni-Man
About
Why you should play as them
Nolan, or Omni-Man, is a Viltrumite warrior who was originally sent to Earth to conquer it. However, he ended up falling in love with a human woman and (seemingly) abandoning the plans for world domination, until it unlocked within him again.
Omni-Man is brutal. Best described by us as a “heavy hitter”, every melee move of this unflinching behemoth is deliberate and impactful, making neutrals and combos fly without too much effort.
Atom Eve
About
Why you should play as them
Atom Eve is one of the more popular heroes from the Invincible universe, with the ability to conjure objects from the matter all around, hence her namesake.
Atom Eve occupies a dual role as both a zoner and a support character, keeping the distance from your 3v3 tag team in more of a background role.
Allen the Alien
About
Why you should play as them
A fan-favourite character from the Prime Video show, Allen the Alien undergoes a brutal transformation from a small, weaker character to an absolute unit with some risky procedures.
Allen’s best described as a Tank or Bruiser whose intimidating presence, but slower speed, means he’s better as a pure DPS role, backed by a support or faster all-rounder character.
Anissa
About
Why you should play as them
A fearsome Viltrumite warrior, and one of the strongest at that, Anissa has been a major antagonist in the show ever since its second season, and for good reason.
Everything about Anissa in Invincible VS screams pure rushdown. She’s all about overpowering and suffocating her opponents with fast mix-ups and strings that don’t give your foes any time to breathe.
Battle Beast
About
Why you should play as them
A lion-like warrior that thrives in combat, Battle Beast goes all over the universe looking for a worthy challenge. Do you have what it takes to best him?
Arguably the best Invincible VS fighter in the current meta, Battle Beast is a grappler who can decimate the full roster under the right circumstances.
Cecil Stedman
About
Why you should play as them
Cecil is the head of the Global Defense Agency, responsible for rangling many of the heroes of the world. What he lacks in physical power, he more than makes up for in resources.
As a tactician/zoner type, Cecil Stedman is a summoner who features a unique teleporting ability, giving him a full range of keep-away options.
Conquest
About
Why you should play as them
True to his namesake, Conquest is a high-ranking Viltrumite warrior of a similar power level (or even greater) than Omni-Man, proving formidable for Invincible and basically anyone else.
There’s no surprise that Conquest is a juggernaut character. Huge moves, massive damage, and less technicality. More of a sledgehammer of a character for raw damage.
Dupli-Kate
About
Why you should play as them
Dupli-Kate is all about replication, making clones to fight against her foes.
Her central power set revolves around her ability to make copies of herself, which can be good for mix-ups, and combos, as it means you have to look around for often.
Ella Mental
About
Why you should play as them
Ella Mental is a wholly original character for Invincible VS, who was later adapted into the comic book universe in Capes No. 7.
Ella Mental’s power set is all about crowd control. She has full remit over air, earth, fire, and air, and uses these primal moves as a keep-away tactic.
Lucan
About
Why you should play as them
Another Viltrumite, Lucan has a similar level of power to Omni-Man, Conquest, and Anissa, and is over a thousand years old in canon.
Lucan can best be described as a “defensive tank” because, while he’s capable of dealing heavy damage, his size and presence on the battlefield gives you more of a barrier for the rest of your team.
Monster Girl
About
Why you should play as them
With a name as subtle as a brick, Monster Girl is equal parts defenseless child and hulking beast.
You get the best of both worlds with the dual protagonist approach to Monster Girl, a dedicated stance change, with two characters to adapt to here.
Powerplex
About
Why you should play as them
Similar to Shocker or Electro from Spider-Man, Powerplex controls electricity to his whim, and seeks revenge on Invincible, as an unstable villain.
Powerplex is all about energy absorption, which means nullifying projectiles and returning your own fire.
Rex Splode
About
Why you should play as them
As hot-headed in personality as he is in power se, Rex Splode can generate massive amounts of thermal energy to use against his opponents.
You should play as Rex Splode if you’re a fan of zoners with a wealth of projectiles to launch at your foes.
Robot
About
Why you should play as them
A young clone of Rex Splode, Robot is an intelligent machine, whose allegiance remains unsteady, and offers a mechanical approach to the superhero world.
As you would hope from a robotic character, Robot has a wealth of gadgets and technology to play around with.
Titan
About
Why you should play as them
Titan is more of a background antagonist from the Invincible world, able to absorb any matter and absorb that to his skin. He ends up having a surprising amount of depth.
True to his main power set, Titan is all about armor and defensive capabilities. He should be used in your team of three if you’re looking to keep your DPS/tank characters safe.
Thula
About
Why you should play as them
One of the weaker Viltrumites, Thula utilizes her hair as her main weapon rather than her fists and raw power, giving her a unique ability set for the empire.
Thula thrives on precision striking, taking considered wounds to your foes and then tagging back out to protect her for long-term fighting.
