Winterfest is one of the most exciting events for Fortnite players. This annual event brings lots of new content for the winter-themed holiday, and lots of gifts as well. Traditionally, Epic Games releases this event in mid-December, so the next one should be around the corner. While its start date hasn’t been leaked yet, we already know one of the skins that will come with it.

Hatsune Miku, a fan-favorite skin from Festival Season 7, is making a glorious comeback. Epic will add a winter version of the skin, and it will surely be one of the best-sellers. The popular character may also be free, and here’s everything we know about it.

The leak for the first Winterfest 2025 skin comes from Shiina, a leaker with a good track record. Unfortunately, the leaker hasn’t been able to share any other details regarding the skin, including its price or design. There is a slim chance that the skin will be free, since Epic usually releases two free skins during Winterfest.

The virtual artist currently has two skins in the game, as one of them was first included in the Music Pass, while the other one was available in the Item Shop. Considering how popular she is, it’s no surprise that the Fortnite developer is adding her back.

The next Fortnite update is scheduled for December 11, 2025. This will be the first major update of Chapter 7 – Season 1, but also the last update of the year. Once it comes out, we expect the Winterfest event to fully leak. Shortly after that, Epic will go on a winter break.
