Housemarque’s exciting new roguelike game Saros finally has a concrete release date for PlayStation 5.Announced during PlayStation’s latest State of Play presentation, the upcoming PS5 exclusive is set to release in 2026.

Starring Rahul Kohli (Midnight Mass), the upcoming bullet hell action game follows Soltari Enforcer Arjun Devraj as he explores a lost colony filled with mysterious monsters. As a roguelike game, players will experience death and rebirth over and over again as they hunt for permanent upgrades.

In a new run, players will be able to kick off a Second Chance, giving players one more chance to continue the run without going all the way back to the start.

Saros officially releases exclusively on PS5 on March 20, 2025. The game will also benefit from PS5 Pro Enhancements that give players additional visuals and higher levels of performance, but they have yet to be detailed.

“Combat unfolds as a fluid dance of dodges, shields, and parries, paired with a high-tech arsenal built of human and alien weaponry. Master enemy patterns, evolve your strategy, and face off against spectacular bosses that push every skill to the edge,” reads the description. “Death is not the end, with permanent upgrades, evolving equipment and the “Second Chance” system that allows you to always come back stronger.”
