NetEase’s new love-themed season for Marvel Rivals Season 5 is coming with the two biggest lovebirds of the comic universe: Gambit and Rogue. These two powerful X-Men mutants are finally making their way to the game after months of leaks revealed their inclusion in the multiplayer hero shooter.

Gambit was released on Friday, November 14, 2025 with Season 5. However, Rogue’s abilities have yet to be confirmed, as she is set to arrive to the game with Season 5.5 on December 12, 2025. Nevertheless, we’ll be breaking down every one of Rogue’s abilities for players to get the gist of before her official release.

Many details surrounding the hero have been leaked by renowned leakers over the past few months. Both Gambit and Rogue have been part of the list of leaked heroes for ages, alongside other heroes that have already been released.

With this in mind, we already have a great understanding on what Rogue abilities players will be able to weild. However, it’s always worth noting that some of these moves could be different from what NetEase releases later this week.

According to the leaks, Rogue is a Strategist character within Marvel Rivals who uses her powers of absorption to empower herself and weaken her enemies. Just like other Marvel Rivals strategists, the character will focus on support using her unique power set.

With NetEase planning to properly represent every character they can with unique power sets, Rogue should also be able to fly through the battlefield and absorb other heroes’ powers in some form.

Alongside the character’s role, Rogue’s abilities have been leaked in their entirety, but there are still changes that NetEase could make. Despite that, the leaked powers provide a great look at a solid adaptation for the character in the multiplayer game.

Rogue’s abilities are as follows:

  • Ability Draw – Rogue is able to copy the abilities of nearby heroes to use for herself. Rogue can store three of these abilities to use until death.
  • Ability Acquisition – Skill 1 – Rogue’s first stolen ability
  • Ability Acqusition – Skill 2 – Rogue’s second stolen ability
  • Ability Acquisition – Skill 3 – Rogue’s third stolen ability
  • Capacity Building – a passive skill that increases energy by absorbing attacks within the match
