How to Redeem Codes in Dead by Daylight

Redeeming your free rewards is simple, but you have to do it through the in-game shop rather than a website. Follow these steps:

  1. Launch Dead by Daylight on your preferred platform (PC, Console, or Switch).
  2. From the main menu, select the Store button.
  3. Once in the Store, look for the Redeem button near the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  4. Enter your code into the text box exactly as shown above.
  5. Click Redeem, and your Bloodpoints or items will be added to your account instantly!

What Are Bloodpoints and How Do I Use Them?

Bloodpoints are the primary “experience” currency in Dead by Daylight. You earn them by playing matches, but codes give you a massive head start. You spend Bloodpoints in the Bloodweb to:

  • Level up characters: Unlock new perk slots and teachable perks.
  • Get Items and Add-ons: Stock up on Flashlights, Med-kits, or powerful Killer attachments.
  • Prestige: Once you hit level 50, you can prestige a character to unlock their perks for everyone else.

Where to find more DBD codes?

Behaviour Interactive usually drops new codes during special events like the Anniversary, Halloween, or Lunar New Year. To stay updated, we recommend that you bookmark this page – we update this guide regularly, so keep checking back, and you’ll never miss out on free Bloodpoints! In addition, following the official Dead by Daylight X account (formerly Twitter) will allow you to stay up to date with the latest codes from the official sources.

What is Dead by Daylight?

Dead by Daylight is a high-stakes, 4v1 asymmetrical horror game developed and published by the Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive. Originally released on June 14, 2016, the game casts one player as a brutal Killer and the other four as Survivors. The Survivors’ goal is to repair five generators to power the Exit Gates and escape, while the Killer must hunt them down and sacrifice them to a malevolent force known as The Entity. With a massive roster of original characters and legendary horror icons like Michael Myers, Ghost Face, and Chucky, it has become the ultimate “hall of fame” for multiplayer horror fans.

Dead by Daylight Codes FAQ:

How often do new DBD codes come out?

New codes typically drop during major game updates, seasonal events (like the Anniversary in June or Halloween in October), and community milestones. While Bloodpoint codes are common during events, “permanent” cosmetic codes are released much less frequently.

Is there a limit to how many Bloodpoints I can have?

Yes. There is a soft cap of 5,000,000 Bloodpoints earned through normal gameplay and Tome challenges. However, any Bloodpoints you receive from promo codes or login rewards do not count toward this cap and can push your total well beyond the 5 million limit!

Why is my code saying “Invalid”?

If a code doesn’t work, it’s usually for one of three reasons:

  1. Expiration: The code was for a limited-time event and has since ended.
  2. Typos: Codes are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as they appear.
  3. Already Claimed: Each code can only be redeemed once per account.

Can I redeem these codes on Dead by Daylight Mobile?

Currently, most promo codes are specifically for the PC and Console versions of the game. DBD Mobile typically has its own separate reward system and redemption portal found within the mobile app’s “Events” tab.

Do these codes work on all platforms?

Yes! Unless specifically noted (like Switch-exclusive banners), these codes work across all platforms where Dead by Daylight is available, including Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
