Epic Games is keeping the tradition alive by giving away new skins that you can unlock completely for free. Once again, the game creator has released two skins that are available for a limited time.

The Winterfest cabin has returned with the new event, and you can visit it from the main menu. The cabin features a couple of upcoming characters, a fireplace, and presents. The event will run until January 5, 2026, and until then, you can open 14 different presents from the left side of the cabin.

- Click on the presents on the left side
- Pick the present you want to open
Epic Games has once again added a variety of cosmetics you can get for free, from gliders to skins.
The first free skin is Glacial Dummy, a frozen variant of the crash test dummy. You will be able to unlock him after opening seven Winterfest presents. This means if you log in every day, you can add him to your collection after just one week of the event.
The second free skin is Cheeks, the adorable hamster that was leaked earlier this month. He is the ultimate reward for the event, requiring you to open 13 presents during the event. If you are consistent and open daily gifts, you’ll be able to unlock him by the end of 2025.
Once again, you will receive a new present every day. They also stack, so even if you can’t log in every day, Fortnite gifts will be waiting for you.
