Marvel Rivals Season 5 may just be about to release, but there’s already teases for Season 6. While the upcoming season adds Rogue and Gambit—check out Gambit’s abilities here and Rogue’s abilities here—the next season is seemingly bringing Elsa Bloodstone and Deadpool into the fray.

This all comes from a recent gallery card added to the game for Season 5. Once you complete the new gallery, you’ll unlock the Season 6 tease, which reads: “Few Earth-born operatives of my own that have been working for me behind the scenes: a blathering, foul-mouthed mercenary and a monster hunter as deadly as she is beautiful.”

This is a clear tease for Elsa Bloodstone and Deadpool, two characters that have both been included in the list of leaked heroes for a while now. While we’ve already detailed potential Deadpool abilities and roles for the game, how will Elsa Bloodstone play? With this in mind, we’ve created a predicted Elsa Bloodstones abilities and role list that details how the character should play when they’re added to the game.

Marvel Rivals Elsa Bloodstone predicted role

In the comic books, Elsa Bloodstone is a very powerful hunter who is enhanced by fragments of the Bloodgem in her blood. With the addition of her Bloodstone Choker, the character is able to make use of superhuman strength, agility, endless stamina and more.

Across her comic run, Elsa has also had a healing factor similar to Wolverine and Deadpool, which allows her to recover from some injuries, and is also to use energy powers to battle foes. However, she is also a very skilled hunter with proficiency with a large number of firearms and traps.

Really, Elsa Bloodstone would likely fit the duellist role within Marvel Rivals, although the character is quite versatile. With her superhuman strength, we could see the game opt to put the character in a vanguard role, just to reduce the number of duellists in the game.

Marvel Rivals Elsa Bloodstone abilities predicted

In past leaks, Elsa Bloodstone abilities have been discovered within files for Marvel Rivals under the game file Elsa Bloodstone character”, but these abilities are simply number attributes without any description of what they do. With this in mind, we will have to predict what the character will play list when she’s added to the game.

Additionally, Marvel Rivals developers hid the development of Elsa Bloodstone behind the name of another Marvel character: Paste Pot Pete. Early datamines found references to the character with Elsa now replacing their character ID, according to X0X_Leak.

Elsa Bloodstone has eight abilities in Marvel Rivals, including passives. Here are the abilities we predict for the character:

• Left Click – Long-Range Attack – this will likely be Elsa’s rifle, a long-range weapon that can deal medium-to-high damage to enemies from afar.
• Right Click – Short Range Attack – we imagine this would be Elsa’s trusty double-barrel shotgun which could deal devastating damage in short-range
• Shift – Quick Dodge – Elsa’s movement ability would focus on her rapid speed and abilitiy to dodge out of the way of big attacks
• E – Concussive Grenade – Elsa’s use of additional weapons would allow for a type of flashbang to be thrown and disorient enemies
• F – Trap – Elsa’s hunting prowess has caused the character to use a number of traps over the years. This would allow her to keep an enemy—or group of enemies—in place to deal additional damage.
• Q – Energy Blast – Elsa would use her energy blast attack to deal a large amount of damage to a specific zone.
• Passive 1 – Storing Energy – Elsa’s Bloodstone powers allows her to take damage and keep it as additional energy which could power-up her Energy Blast ultimate.
• Passive 2 – Minor Healing Factor – Allows Elsa to heal minor damage if she can get to safety.

Elsa Bloodstone Team-Ups

While not as popular as a character like Spider-Man or Deadpool, Elsa Bloodstone has been in a lot of team-ups over the years. Due to her immunity to vampire bites, the character has been a member of the Midnight Sons alongside Blade and Ghost Rider.

Additionally, Elsa has foguht against an evil version of Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, which could lead to some interesting team-ups in Marvel Rivals. With the Bloodstone seemingly powered by some form of Chaos Magic, it would make sense that Wanda’s powers could buff Elsa in the game.

With this in mind, we predict the following team-ups for the character:

• Team-Up 1 – Elsa and Blade – the two characters team-up to deal damage to a group of enermies with a combination of Blade and Elsa’s powers.
• Team-Up 2 – Scarlet Witch and Elsa – Wanda buffs the powers of Elsa Bloodstone to deal additional damage

When will Elsa Bloodstone join Marvel Rivals?

Judging from the information added in Season 5, it seems that Elsa Bloodstone is set to join Marvel Rivals is set to join the game in Season 6. With seasons now releasing every two months, we should expect the season to launch in January 2026.

However, it’s not known whether or not the character will launch at the start of the season or during the mid-season. However, considering the fact that the character is launching alongside Deadpool, we’d expect Elsa to release second to the Merc with a Mouth.
