Commodore and CD Projekt have teamed to take players back to the past with a brand-new Cyberpunk 2077 branded Commodore 64.
Dubbed the Commodore 77, this rebuilt retro computer is a modern version of the Commodore 64 Ultimate. As part of the brand’s ongoing C64 preservation efforts, Commodore is continuing to create new C64 machines, although this marks the company’s first brand partnership.
The Commodore 77 is the first true special edition of the machine featuring a complete redesign based off the fictional Seocho Electronics corporation from Cyberpunk 2077. While the internals offer authentic FPGA internals and an updated AMD Artix 7 XC7A100T processor, the exterior features a slick, tagged yellow top and a clear bottom with RPG lighting.
Furthermore, the new Commodore 77 features a metal top plate that’s etched with the Cyberpunk 2077 logo, adding an even more premium feel to the retro console. It looks fantastic, but the new Cyberpunk machine also comes with its own game.
Included with the Commodore 77, players will receive a custom “Shard” cartridge that includes an “exclusive” demo game. The Shard will allow players to experience a short 8-Bit game set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. We can only see a tiny bit of the game right now which shows a short driving scene and a walking scene featuring Panam.
Fans who pick up the new Cyberpunk 2077 themed Commodore 64 will also receive a themed box and spiral-bound user guide with Cyberpunk-inspired BASIC programs and lore. Additionally, the console comes with exclusive Commodore x Cyberpunk 2077 enamel pins and stickers as well as an extra-long HDMi cable and world power adapter.
The Commodore 77 ships in February 2027 and costs £276.29 or your regional equivalent. There are also some additional accessories available for purchase including a themed SD card, a TAC-2 Joystick, and a Commodore 77 T-shirt. You can pre-order the machine on the official Commodore website right here.
