Fortnite has officially confirmed the Harry Potter collaboration, which is set to arrive during the Winterfest event. The collab will bring new skins and cosmetic items, alongside a free reward. While Epic Games hasn’t revealed the release date of these skins, we have an early look at one of them.
The release date of the Winterfest 2025 event remains a mystery, although we expect it to come out by Friday, December 19. In the meantime, let’s take a look at what’s waiting for us, including a free reward that will be available for a limited time.
Fortnite reveals Harry Potter skins and a free Winterfest gift
The latest Fortnite update has added many Winterfest skins that will be released by the end of the year. From original skins to collaborations, the Fortnite community has a lot of new content to look forward to. On top of this, Epic will release a couple of gifts for active players.
The first such gift is the Chocolate Frog back bling, which you can see in the image above. According to Epic Games, the free cosmetic item will be available in the game for a limited time, so we expect it to be obtainable through the questline.
In addition to the Winterfest gift, the Fortnite developer revealed information about Harry Potter skins, including a design of one of them. Epic disclosed that players will be able to purchase several Hogwarts house-themed skins in the Item Shop, and all of them will be customizable!
The game creator has even posted one of these skins.
Once these skins come to the shop, you will be able to customize them to represent one of the four houses in the Harry Potter universe: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff. At the moment, it’s unknown if the collaboration will bring characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, or Hermione Granger.
