With only a week until the release of Marvel Rivals Season 7, NetEase has begun teasing the upcoming content. As previously leaked, one of the upcoming heroes will be Black Cat. The game developer teased the addition of Felicia Hardy with a Wanted poster on the Times Square map, which was recently updated.

The latest update hints that Black Cat could be a Vanguard, a surprising role for her. Earlier this month, we predicted Black Cat’s abilities in Marvel Rivals, believing she would be a Duelist. However, her change to a tank would be quite shocking, although very good.

Will Black Cat be a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals?

For the past few months, Marvel Rivals players could see a Wanted poster for Black Cat in Times Square. The first version of the poster showed Felicia Hardy as a 5-foot-9 (175 cm) woman. However, the latest update changed her height to over 7 feet 6 inches (229 cm).

One thing that separates Vanguards from other heroes in Marvel Rivals is their size. That is why Angela is 6 feet 11 inches (211 cm), while Emma Frost and Rogue are approximately 6 feet tall. To put this into perspective, Squirrel Girl and Mantis are both around 5 feet 5 inches, or 165 cm.

Now, it’s important to point out that this is not a confirmation of Black Cat’s role in Marvel Rivals. Some players believe that her being 7.5 feet tall on the poster could also be an indication that she will come in Season 7.5. If this turns out to be the case, then Season 7 should introduce White Fox as a new hero on March 20.
