The wait for Marvel Rivals Season 6 is almost over. With the new season launching this Friday, January 16, NetEase will bring many buffs and nerfs, shaking up the meta and even reworking one hero. As previously confirmed, the new season will also introduce Deadpool, who will be a fully hybrid hero.
Deadpool’s arrival will likely make him the most popular hero in Marvel Rivals, at least in the first few weeks of Season 6. In the meantime, pick rates of some other heroes should drop, especially those who will receive nerfs.
Which Marvel Rivals heroes are getting buffed and nerfed in Season 6?
We are still waiting on the specific damage numbers and cooldown values for the newest patch, but the confirmed list of heroes receiving buffs and nerfs has already been revealed. Six heroes will receive buffs, and three of them are Vanguards. On the other hand, four heroes will be nerfed.

In addition to these heroes, NetEase will rework Namor, who is another damage dealer. The rework remains a mystery, but we expect something substantial that will make the hero more powerful on the battlefield.
Currently, Namor occupies an awkward middle ground between a turret summoner and a projectile DPS. This rework will likely modify his kit to give him a more defined role in team fights, potentially altering how his Monstro Spawns attack enemies or changing one of his core skills.
The game developer will likely release more information about the hero on Wednesday, two days before the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 6.
