April Fool’s Day event in Marvel Rivals will bring even more free rewards. During a limited-time event, players will be able to earn free Units, an emote, and a title. However, it’s important to note that these free cosmetics will only be available for 72 hours. Later on, NetEase will bring them back to the game, but they won’t be free.
If you’re an active Marvel Rivals player and want to score free cosmetics, here is everything you need to know about the upcoming event. The free rewards can be unlocked in just a few minutes, making this a perfect opportunity to expand your in-game collection.
How to unlock free Marvel Rivals Units and emote?
The latest Marvel Rivals update was released on March 26, and it prepared everything necessary for the April Fool’s Day event. The event will go live on Wednesday, April 1, at 2 AM UTC. During this period, you will be able to unlock several free cosmetics, including some Units.
As NetEase revealed, the event begins shortly after midnight UTC. It ends on Saturday, April 4, at 2 AM UTC, giving you 72 hours to unlock free rewards. You can unlock the following rewards:
- Jeff the Land Shark – Jeff Rodeo Emote
- Land Shark Rider Title
- 100 Units
To unlock 100 Units and the Land Shark Rider Title, you will need to go to the Times Square map. In this map’s Social Hub, you need to ride Jeff the Land Shark 100 meters using the free emote. As soon as you do it, you will unlock free Units and the title.
If you can’t attend the event, you will have a chance to obtain the emote later on. NetEase revealed that it will come to the shop after the free giveaway period, but you will have to buy it for Units.
