Ghost Rider is most likely a new Marvel Rivals character who will come to the game in the future. He was spotted on K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven, an upcoming map. The map will go live on Friday, September 26, and NetEase has teased it with a short video.

The video of the map features a mural that shows a couple of interesting things, such as new characters and possible skins. One of these characters is Ghost Rider (1,000,000 BC), so let’s take a look at the potential release date of this hero.

When will Ghost Rider come to Marvel Rivals?

Before we go into details, it’s important to note that NetEase has not confirmed the release of Ghost Rider yet. The game developer simply teased him with a mural, which likely indicates that he will come to the game soon. After all, this has been the case with Blade, who was first seen in the game in early 2025.

With Season 4.5 coming on October 10, NetEase will release Daredevil. Due to this, there is little to no chance of Ghost Rider coming to the game next month. However, we might get him in Season 5, which will probably come out on Friday, November 14. This Marvel character first appeared in a “Marvel Legacy” comic in September 2017, while the OG Ghost Rider debuted in “Marvel Spotlight” in 1972.

Since we are still nearly two months away from the release of Season 5, this is just a guess. However, NetEase may hint at the upcoming hero as we get close to the season’s release date. As previously announced, the Marvel Rivals developer will release a new hero every month, and Ghost Rider might be the hero that we get in November.

At the moment, it’s hard to correctly assess the role this character would have in the game. While a Duelist would be an easy choice, NetEase could certainly turn him into a Vanguard, or even into a hybrid tank, similar to Mister Fantastic. The game developer is aware that Marvel Rivals has too many Duelists, so we can expect a shift in the roles in the future.

The K’un-Lun: Heart of Heavens map will be available starting September 26, and we’ll be able to get a better look at the mural and everything that’s on it.
