With Marvel Rivals Season 7 launching on March 20, there’s a lot of buzz around the upcoming heroes. Black Cat and White Fox have been all but confirmed as the new heroes, but the latest leak takes it a step further. Miller Ross, a well-known Marvel Rivals partner, has shared several interesting details about the next few seasons.
While Ross did not reveal anything directly, several vague hints mentioned during his live streams have led fans to piece together potential characters for the next six months. One of the characters that is reportedly coming is Cyclops, who could become the game’s next A-list addition.
Future Marvel Rivals heroes may have just been leaked
NetEase is working on the biggest year of Marvel Rivals updates at the moment, and it seems that the team has prepared plenty of exciting content. The year is off to a fantastic start with the addition of Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
According to Miller Ross’ hints, Season 7 will indeed bring Black Cat and White Fox. While many Marvel fans are familiar with these characters, they aren’t exactly A-listers. However, that should change in Season 8, which should launch in late May or early June. This season will include an A-list character, and many players believe that it will be Cyclops.
Cyclops is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel universe, and adding him to the game would be a perfect move. The tactical leader of the X-Men has been datamined as well, which indicates that NetEase has already worked on his development. The second Season 8 character will be another less popular hero.

Ross also hinted at two characters for Season 9. The clues suggest that one of them could be Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, characters often considered B- or C-list in terms of mainstream popularity but still beloved by Marvel fans. One of the characters is described as well-loved but comes from a different corner of Marvel.
For now, none of these characters have been confirmed for Marvel Rivals. While NetEase usually plans characters several months in advance, the team’s plans could change, and some of the heroes could still be scrapped. Due to this, we will have to wait for an official confirmation and reveal. Despite this, it’s still interesting to see what the developers may be working on.
The next season is set to launch on March 20, and its patch notes may have already been leaked. Before the season launches, players should unlock all the free Marvel Rivals skins, as some of them will expire soon.
