Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 is the massive mid-season update that will bring a lot of new content. NetEase has revealed its release date, as well as a new hero coming with it. On top of this, we expect another event, more free skins, a new map, and a couple of gameplay tweaks.

When does the new season of Marvel Rivals come out?
The next season of Marvel Rivals will launch on Friday, February 13, at 9 AM UTC. This is the usual time, so NetEase won’t make any changes to the release schedule. However, it’s important to note that the game will be unplayable for two to three hours due to server downtime.
As soon as the servers get back up, Elsa Bloodstone, a new character, will be playable. Her role hasn’t been revealed yet, but considering we are less than two weeks away from the new season, we expect NetEase to share some details soon. For now, we can see her design, as she was included in the Marvel Rivals key art for 2026.
The new season of Marvel Rivals won’t bring another Battle Pass, so you will have another month to complete it. However, we expect NetEase to add another event with free cosmetics, as well as another map, in late March.
NetEase will likely give Season 6.5 early access to content creators a few days before it comes out. Once this happens, we will be able to see everything the new season brings, from Elsa Bloodstone’s abilities to all the new cosmetics.
