Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 is quickly approaching, and NetEase has already revealed some of the upcoming content. The developer, who we previously interviewed about Rivals, will release a new hero, Black Cat, who was revealed in March. In addition, the game will receive a new event, more cosmetics, another map later in the season, and additional content.

As highlighted above, it’s important to note that the new season won’t be available right away. You will be able to download it at the times specified above. However, NetEase will take Marvel Rivals servers down for maintenance at that time, making the game unavailable for a few hours. In general, downtime lasts between two to three hours, meaning Season 7.5 should be playable around 12 PM UTC.

The launch of Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 will not reset your rank nor your Battle Pass progress. As a result, you will be able to progress through the pass for a few more weeks. Additionally, NetEase will release Black Cat’s ranked skin with the new season, allowing you to unlock it alongside White Fox’s ranked skin.

A few days before the new season launches, NetEase will reveal all the upcoming balance changes and more details. Furthermore, the season will likely bring a unique 1v6 PvP mode in collaboration with Marvel Studios’ The Avengers. Interestingly, the new Marvel Rivals season will launch just a few days after Overwatch Season 2, setting up the stage for another clash of hero shooters.
