NetEase confirmed Black Cat and White Fox as new heroes, bringing a fresh mix of stealth and agility to the roster. Shortly after the reveal of the new characters, the Marvel Rivals developer also revealed heroes that will be affected by buffs and nerfs in Season 7. These changes were revealed in the latest Dev Vision video, offering an early look at the balance changes that will shake up the roster.
For the first time in Marvel Rivals history, every character will receive a global adjustment, as ultimate charge rates are being nerfed across the board.
Marvel Rivals Season 7 early patch notes reveal new buffs and nerfs
The upcoming season of Marvel Rivals introduces a fresh set of balance changes. Once again, NetEase is aiming to increase the popularity of underused heroes, while those who dominate the meta will be toned down. These buffs and nerfs are expected to have a direct impact on hero viability and win rates as the new season unfolds.
Without further ado, let’s check all the buffs coming with Season 7 of Marvel Rivals:

- Deadpool (Duelist)
- Iron Man
- Scarlet Witch
- Luna Snow
On the other hand, here are the heroes that will be nerfed in the new season:

- Elsa Bloodstone
- Daredevil
- Doctor Strange
- Deadpool (Vanguard)
The magnitude of these balance changes is currently unknown. However, the Marvel Rivals development team should release Season 7 patch notes soon, detailing all the buffs and nerfs coming with it. While some characters will likely be nerfed by only one or two percent, some of them may become unplayable.
Each character will receive a 20% nerf to their ultimate ability charge rate in the new Marvel Rivals season. Later in the season, NetEase will nerf subsequent crowd control effects.

- Luna’s ability heals allies and damages enemies, while also granting her a movement boost
- Adam Warlock gets a new effect for Soaring Surge with Storm
- Adam leaves behind a trail of energy after activating Soaring Surge that heals and speeds up allies who pass through it
