In addition to these buffs and nerfs, the Overwatch update fixed a bug that allowed Ashe use Coach Gun while incapacitated. Furthermore, Zarya’s Extra Oomph Perk used to grant more energy than intended, which is no longer the case.

Blizzard will continue monitoring the performance of the new heroes and make more changes with a mid-season patch if necessary. As the Overwatch roadmap for 2026 shows, Season 2 is scheduled to launch in Spring 2026, likely in mid-April. It will bring another new hero, a 10-year anniversary event, and additional content.
