Embark Studios has released the latest Arc Raiders 1.12.0 patch notes, detailing new fixes and tweaks to the popular extraction shooter. Coming around a week before the game’s brand-new Flashpoint update, this will be the last patch before the next content drop.
As Embark teases the release of Shredders from Stella Montis and continues teasing the game’s new map in April, this update is on the smaller side. As for the major additions with this new patch, players should encounter less crashes on PC, and should no longer be stuck in the Harvester, which is less funny than it sounds.
Check out the full patch notes below:
- New Raider Tool.
- New Backpack set.
- Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur with DirectX 11.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck inside the Harvester and between destroyed ARC parts.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to walk through walls while picking up a Fuel Cell or Field Crate.
In a statement to fans, Embark explained that the weekly updates to the game are not supposed to introduce major changes to the extraction shooter. Instead, major tweaks will likely come as part of a major update or in more drastic patches as the game continues to evolve.
“We’ve also seen some questions about the size of our weekly patches, so to clarify: these updates are focused on smaller quality-of-life improvements and store rotations. Our larger, more content-heavy updates are currently planned for the end of each month,” the developer told fans expecting a larger update this week.
As Arc Raiders fans continue to wait for the next update, Embark has announced that there will be a number of teases over the week to hype up the community. As a new map condition and a new Arc threat make their way into the game, Arc Raiders is set to evolve yet again early next week.
