Wednesday Addams is one of the most popular skins to come to Fortnite this Halloween event. Epic Games added her at the very start of the event, but she has not been released yet. Fortunately, her release is less than two days ago. Before that, however, we will be able to unlock her for free!
If you’d like to unlock Wednesday without paying any V-Bucks, our guide will explain what you need to do. Keep in mind that the skin is only available on Thursday, October 23, and if you miss the opportunity to get it for free, you’ll have to get it from the Item Shop.

How to get Wednesday skin for free in Fortnite?
The iconic character will be available in the Fortnite Reload Duos cup on Thursday. This is the same cup that had Jason Voorhees as its reward last week, so make sure to bring your favorite partner to take down the competition.
Once again, Epic Games will grant a free skin to approximately 5000 players. Bigger regions have more participants, and therefore, more winners. As a result, this is how high you need to rank in every region:

The most important thing in the cup is survival, as each victory grants 10 points. On top of this, you will get one point for every elimination, which is very valuable considering that the cup is played in Fortnite Reload, a mode that features respawns. Besides the skin, you’ll be able to get Wednesday’s spray, which only requires you to earn eight points.
If you don’t unlock the skin in the cup, it will be available in the shop later this week. Don’t forget to also grab the free Halloween skin, as it will expire on November 1.
