NetEase’s Marvel Rivals is reviving the game’s brilliant Chrono Rush event, a limited-time event that allows you to earn an unlimited number of Chrono Tokens just from playing matches in the constantly-evolving superhero multiplayer game.
As Rivals gets started on its major 2026 roadmap, which the team has teased as the biggest year yet for the game, players are still awaiting the reveal of the Marvel Rivals Season 7 heroes. However, while fans still wait with baited breath, the team has unveiled the dates for its returning Chrono Rush mode.
Marvel Rivals Chrono-Rush 2026 will start on March 5 at 9:00 AM UTC and run until March 20 at 9:00 AM UTC. This means that players have just over two weeks to grind out as many Chrono Tokens as they can manage with no limit on how many they can earn.
“Chrono-Rush is back – and it’s time to stack those Tokens! Earn extra Chrono Tokens just by playing matches. The more you play, the more you earn – no limits,” the developer announced. “Grind Harder. Earn Bigger.”
Chrono-Rush was last active in Marvel Rivals during Season 5.5: Love is a Battlefield. While the event is a minor event, it proved popular enough to bring it back after just two months with it first joining the back back in January of this year. The mode usually arrives near the end of a season, allowing players to quickly mop up the remains of their battle passes before moving onto the next season.
As for future updates and events for the superhero game, news has been quite light since the start of 2026. Nevertheless, additional content is always in the works as NetEase looks to regain its place as the most popular hero shooter following its recent leaderboards loss to Blizzard’s Overwatch rebrand.
NetEase has teased that players are in for some truly massive updates later this year following 2025’s incredibly impressive suite of content drops. With more expansive game modes and even more heroes, it looks like it’s going to be another fantastic year for Marvel Rivals fans.
