Marvel Rivals kicked off 2026 with major additions, including Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone. For the first time in the game’s history, NetEase introduced a fully hybrid hero, allowing Deadpool to function as a tank, damage dealer, or support. Now, NetEase is preparing to reveal the rest of its 2026 plans.
Last December, the Marvel Rivals creator promised a big content drop in 2026, describing 2025 as a “warm-up” year. So far, the development team has delivered steady content updates, and the reveal of the new content is just around the corner.
New Marvel Rivals content will be revealed in early March
NetEase and Marvel Games have announced Marvel Rivals Assemble, a live in-person event set for March 3 at the legendary El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Fans who attend the event will be the first to hear about exciting new developments for the game, including exclusive details.
The event will take place approximately two weeks before the release of a new season and could potentially reveal Marvel Rivals Season 7 heroes. The attendees will get the first glimpse at the 2026 roadmap as well.

The hero shooter recently expanded its impressive roster with Elsa Bloodstone as part of its latest mid-season update. Based on NetEase’s previous comments, that’s only the beginning of what’s in store. With 10 more heroes set to release in 2026, it will be interesting to see what the Marvel Rivals developer has come up with.
Marvel Rivals Assemble will also feature some of the game’s voice actors, including Aleks Le (Daredevil), Colleen O’Shaughnessey (Mantis), Fred Tatasciore (Hulk), and Laura Bailey (Black Widow). In addition, the event will include a cosplay contest with prizes and a live musical performance.
Tickets for the Marvel Rivals Assemble event are free, although space is limited. Registration for the event opens on February 17 at 12 PM PT.
