Fortnite Chapter 7 – Season 2 may be heading in a different direction than many fans initially expected. According to multiple reputable leakers, the upcoming season is focused on a rivalry between several major characters. Some of the key characters in the storyline will be the Ice King and The Seven, while the season will bring back elements from the first two chapters.

This information comes from popular leakers who have shared accurate leaks in the past. While Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything yet, these leaks may be accurate, meaning the next Fortnite season could combine major elements from a couple of previous seasons. Once again, it appears that its focus will be on The Seven, an organization that played a major role in the storyline of the first three chapters.

What will be the theme of the next Fortnite season?

Earlier this year, the same leakers had suggested that Fortnite Chapter 7 – Season 2 would focus heavily on Norse mythology. That idea gained traction across the community, especially because several surveys sent out by Epic Games included Norse-themed skins. However, in February, the leakers walked back those claims, claiming that the season would have a different theme.

Now, with more information reportedly surfacing, the direction for the season appears to be something entirely different.

According to Blortzen, a well-known leaker, the next Fortnite season will have a rivalry theme. More specifically, it will be about the Dark Voyager and the Ice King fighting against The Seven. Considering that the leaked Season 2 Battle Pass reportedly includes members of The Seven and that we are in Chapter 7, this theme would make sense narratively.

In addition to the faction war, the upcoming season will reportedly include elements from Chapter 1 – Season 5 and Chapter 2 – Season 5. More specifically, the worlds may collide once again, with Zero Point shards providing access to multiple realities. This mechanic could once again bring unexpected crossovers and map transformations throughout the season.

As with all Fortnite leaks, players should take the information with caution until Epic Games officially reveals the season. Epic Games recently sued a well-known Fortnite leaker, which may reduce the number of leaks leading up to the season. Since we are less than two weeks away from its release, we should get more details from Epic soon.
