Fortnite has officially released its long-awaited Honkai Star Rail collaboration. The crossover was first leaked in 2025 before being teased earlier this year by Epic Games. Now, it’s finally out, as Blade and Kafka have made their way into the battle royale game.

While both Honkai Star Rail skins are available for purchase from the Item Shop, players also have a chance to get them for free. The official X account of the video game is giving away skins to 100 lucky winners, as well as $50 gift cards for 20 additional winners.. The event ends on March 4, giving Fortnite players a week to get a couple of free skins or V-Bucks.

How to get free Honkai Star Rail skins in Fortnite?

For a limited time, players can get both Blade and Kafka skins for free in Fortnite. The official account of Honkai Star Rail is hosting the giveaway on X, and 120 players will win valuable rewards. The giveaway is exclusive to X (formerly Twitter).

To enter it, players must to quote retweet the giveaway post with a #HSRxFortnite hashtag. The giveaway ends on March 4 at 4 PM Pacific Time, giving players approximately a week to enter.

100 winners from the giveaway will receive both Kafka and Blade sets, which cost 3,600 V-Bucks in total. In addition, 20 lucky players will receive a $50 gift card.

Honkai Star Rail skins leave the Fortnite Item Shop on March 6, so players who don’t win them in the giveaway will be able to purchase them for V-Bucks.

While waiting for the giveaway results, don’t forget to use some of the best Fortnite XP maps to level up quickly and complete the current pass. You can also unlock a couple of free skins in Fortnite before the launch of the season.
