The launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 has been mostly successful, with Epic Games adding a new island, features, and cosmetics. Shortly after the launch, the game developer released the Winterfest event and several big-time collaborations. Unfortunately, the new chapter has brought some serious issues as well, and Epic has decided to get rid of them once and for all.
To fix issues efficiently, Epic has added a new development team. This team will be focused on the player feedback and will take necessary actions to improve the user experience. This change will make Fortnite much better, and we can expect major bug fixes in the coming weeks.
Fortnite has added a new dev team to make the game better
With every Fortnite update, Epic Games adds lots of new content. Each patch also contains bug fixes, but unfortunately, one bug usually replaces another. Due to this, the game has been dealing with lots of bugs lately, which is why its developer has decided on a bold move.
According to Ted Timmins, Fortnite’s design director, Epic is adding a new dev team to take care of problems. This team will also work on improving user experience and releasing quality-of-life updates. The director clarified that this is a permanent team that has daily meetings.

“We have already taken steps to setup a multi-discipline live-ops strike team that are meeting daily, prioritising feedback, and taking actions to improve player experience and new Quality of life Updates,” Timmins revealed. “This new team is going to be a permanent addition to the development teams setup and I’m excited to see the results.” He also clarified that the team won’t be able to catch everything, but that players will see improvements soon.
