On Tuesday night, Epic Games revealed many new things coming with the next update. From map changes to new skins, players have so many things to look forward to. Judging from what we’ve seen so far, this will be the biggest Halloween event in Fortnite.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the early Fortnite patch notes:
- Halloween event in Fortnite Battle Royale
- Map changes (new POIs, Halloween decorations)
- New and old Halloween events
- Doja Cat collaboration
- Scooby-Doo collaboration (5 skins and many other cosmetics)
- Many iconic characters: Ghostface, Jason Voorhees, Terrifier, Black Phone, R.E.P.O., Huggy Wuggy
- Jason Voorhees Medallion (Battle Royale)
- New Fortnite Reload map
- Original Fortnite Halloween skins, including Dark Maw
- Festival Season 11
- New Blitz update

Furthermore, Epic will add even more content that hasn’t been revealed yet. However, it’s important to note that not everything will be released on the first day of the Halloween event. The event will last for approximately three weeks, and the game developer will periodically release new content during this period.
The release date of the Halloween event in Fortnite is set for Thursday, October 9, and we don’t expect any delays. Considering how big the update is, the downtime may last for at least two hours, and once servers get back up, the event will be live.
