Sidekick pets are finally coming to Fortnite, but their prices are very high. While there is no doubt that these pets are a fantastic addition to the game, many players may not be able to afford them. Surprisingly, these pets cost as much as skins, and there’s a good chance that they will become even more expensive in the future.
In this article, we will list all known Sidekicks in Fortnite and how much they cost in V-Bucks. Most of the pets will be released on November 7, and Fortnite will grant a free Sidekick to eligible players as well.

All Fortnite Sidekicks and their V-Bucks prices
So far, Epic Games has revealed seven Sidekicks coming to Fortnite. One of these will be available in the upcoming Battle Pass, while the others will come to the Item Shop. Bonesy, an iconic dog from Chapter 1, will be given for free to those who own the back bling.
You can see all the revealed Sidekicks below.
If you want to get any of these pets, this is how many V-Bucks you will have to spend:
| Name | Price (V-Bucks) |
|---|---|
| Lil’ Raptor | 1,200 |
| Spike | 1,200 |
| Flopsticks | 1,500 |
| Cuddle Team Jr. | 1,500 |
| Bonesy | 1,200 |
| Peels | Battle Pass (1,000) |
| Pug | Currently unknown |
Considering that Fortnite skins cost between 800 and 2,000 V-Bucks, this pricing may be unacceptable. It’s important to note that every pet can be customized with different colors and styles. However, once players finalize their Sidekicks, they won’t be able to change their looks again, which is another downside.
It will be interesting to see how the Fortnite community will react to the prices of Sidekicks. If these cosmetic items don’t sell well, there is no doubt that Epic Games will lower their prices. However, we will have to wait for November 7 to see if any of these pets appear on the list of best-selling cosmetics.
