Fortnite just released another update, bringing more fresh content to the game. The Simpsons are back, as the Springfield map has come to Fortnite Reload. On top of this, Epic Games added a new Spider-Man skin, new items, more cosmetics, and a live event, among other things.
It appears that Epic is gearing up for a season-ending event, which should take place in August. The current season is set to end on August 20, and judging by past seasons, we could get the next Fortnite event in mid-August. The name of the event is Unstoppable, and according to leakers, it will be connected to the storyline.
When will the next Fortnite live event begin?
The exact start date of the next Fortnite live event hasn’t been revealed or leaked yet. However, considering that Epic Games usually releases events in the final week of the season, Unstoppable should go live in the second or third week of August.
Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, revealed the name and logo of the event shortly after the newest update was released. Unfortunately, the leaker hasn’t shared any other information for now. Considering that the update is still fresh, we will likely get more details about the season-ending event soon.

The last live event was massive, as it featured a fight between The Ice King and The Foundation. On top of that, Epic used it to reveal a new Fortnite map, which was incredible. In the past, the Fortnite developer changed maps only for new chapters, but the current season was an exception.
While waiting for more event info, players can unlock a couple of free Fortnite skins. With the new season approaching, it’s also a good idea to check out the best Fortnite XP maps to level up quickly and complete the current Battle Pass.
