The price of V-Bucks in Fortnite is going up with the release of the new season, Epic Games has just announced. The company shared new prices that will take effect on March 19. Each V-Bucks bundle will be affected by the pricing change, including exact-amount purchases and the 1,000 V-Bucks bundle.
To soften the change slightly, Epic will reduce the cost of upcoming passes, including the next Battle Pass. The Battle Pass currently costs 1,000 V-Bucks, but it will go down to 800 V-Bucks in Season 2. However, its real-money price won’t change, since the smallest V-Bucks pack will contain 800 units of the premium currency.
Here are all the changes coming with the next Fortnite season.
How much will Fortnite V-Bucks cost next season?
The upcoming Fortnite season will decrease the amounts of V-Bucks from each bundle. The cheapest bundle currently offers 1,000 V-Bucks but will drop to 800 on March 19. The most expensive bundle currently offers 13,500 V-Bucks, which will be reduced by 1,000.
Here are all the details:

| Exact Amount Pack | ~$0.50* for 50 V-Bucks | $0.99* for 50 V-Bucks |
Players who purchase V-Bucks through the Epic Games Store receive a 20% cashback, which will remain unchanged.
On the other hand, every seasonal pass will be cheaper starting with Fortnite Chapter 7 – Season 2. This includes the Battle Pass, which will cost 800 V-Bucks starting on March 19.

The OG pass will cost 800 V-Bucks, while the Music and LEGO Pass will cost 1,200 V-Bucks each, down from 1,400. These changes will also reflect in Fortnite Crew, as subscribers will receive 800 V-Bucks from the monthly pack, down from 1,000. On top of this, the Battle Pass will award players 800 V-Bucks for completing it.
Finally, the Battle Bundle will be reduced by 200 V-Bucks, costing 2,600 in Season 2.
Before the pricing changes take effect, players can still earn free V-Bucks and grab a few free Fortnite skins. They can also jump into some of the best XP maps to finish the current Battle Pass and unlock additional cosmetics.
