Fortnite’s next Icon Series collaboration will bring one of football’s biggest stars into the game, and players may not have to spend V-Bucks to get part of the bundle. Leaked information indicates that Vinicius Jr. will arrive in Fortnite on June 10 with two different outfits, while one of the collaboration’s emotes will reportedly be available for free.
The collaboration adds another major athlete to Fortnite’s growing lineup of real-world celebrities. This time, Epic Games will give Vinicius Jr. more than a standard Icon Series treatment, as the bundle includes two skins with very different looks, several themed cosmetics, and a free reward.
Unfortunately, the free Fortnite reward is only available on mobile devices.
Fortnite’s Vinicius Jr. collaboration brings a free emote
Based on the leaked cosmetics, the upcoming collaboration features both a standard Vinicius Jr. outfit and an alternate “Vini Galáctico” style. The regular skin shows the football star in Brazil-inspired colors, while the second outfit takes a more fashion-forward approach with a darker design.
The bundle also includes the VJR Glow back bling, Vini’s Game Day Gear back bling, Vini’s 7 Striker pickaxe, Vini’s Football Maces pickaxe, and the VJR Icon spray. Additionally, two emotes are also part of the crossover, and while one will be available in the Item Shop, the other one will be free.
According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, the BAILA! emote will be available for free through a limited-time quest. Players will be able to unlock it by earning 100,000 XP on mobile devices once the quest becomes available on June 10.
At the moment, it’s unknown if the free Vinicius Jr. emote will be available on other platforms.
