The release date of the next Fortnite Halloween event has been set. Fortnitemares 2025 is not only coming much sooner than we expected, but it will also be the biggest event so far. Epic Games has prepared several fantastic collaborations to release, and we can’t wait for them to come out.

When will the Halloween event start in Fortnite?
According to reputable Fortnite leakers, including Shiina and Hypex, the release date of the Halloween event is Thursday, October 2. Epic Games will release a new update this week, bringing all the new content with it, including the event. However, even more content will arrive just a week after.
The first wave of Fortnitemares skins will bring the KPop Demon Hunters collaboration. This collab will be huge and will bring three new skins, many other cosmetics, and a new game mode. Doja Cat is set to come out with the same update, alongside new original skins.
The second wave will come on October 9 and will bring even more content. Iconic characters like Ghostface and Jason Voorhees will finally come to Fortnite, as well as the Scooby Doo collaboration. This update should also bring changes to the Battle Royale mode, and we expect the Pumpkin Launcher to be available on this date.
It’s important to note that Epic Games hasn’t confirmed the release date of the Fortnitemares 2025 event. However, considering that the next update is just two days away, we expect an official announcement very soon. The game developer did, however, reveal that the new KPop Demon Hunters mode will go live on Thursday, which can be taken as a confirmation.
