Fancy your own bit of Faerรปn real estate? Tired of living out of a tent? Well, you’re in luck thanks to an incredible mod that finally gives players a chance to own a stunning house in Baldur’s Gate 3.
‘The Realtor’ – Player Housing mod, available right now on Nexus Mods, lets you snap up and decorate eight unique player homes across Faerรปn with the help of two new vendors called The Realtor and The Decorator (the latter of which looks like a genie).
These two NPCs will help you first find your home before decorating it however you’d like. And it’s not just all for show, either. You can access your properties at any time, and – there’s even The Realtor Chest, which is a clone of your tutorial chest.
“This special container holds a copy of the Tutorial Chest’s inventory, ensuring that items from other mods you use are not lost and can be easily retrieved to decorate your new homes,” the mod description reads.
So, what’s on offer? There are eight properties available, all with very different looks and feels. Some feature grand entrances, statues and vistas. Others, like the Barracks, are more basic and functional.
- Treehome

Stunning, organic-looking hut that feels part of the woods. Great for those who fancy waking up to nature.
- The Barracks

Basic, no frills accommodation… but still better than a tent.
- The Chapel

Exactly what you’d expect… a chapel with bench seating.
- Neptune’s Retreat

Looking out on to the sea, and boasts a stunning statue of Neptune.
- Lamp of Luxury

A decadent boudoir with plush seating.
- House Seria

Luxury wooden interior – very familiar to other houses in Faerรปn.
- Red Manor

Stunning, gothic feel with grand open rooms.
- Opulent Studio

Similar vibes to the House Seria, only slightly more regal.
If owning your own home isn’t enough, you can even pair the mod with ASE Glamping for a truly luxurious campsite.
The good news is that the modder isn’t stopping at just eight houses. They promise to add ‘even more unique homes in different locations’ in future updates. There may even be small quests related to acquiring ‘certain high-end properties’, which would certainly go down a storm with the community.
Meanwhile, Wizards of the Coast has revealed that Baldur’s Gate 4 is ‘of course going to happen’, but it won’t be Larian Studios at the helm.
