NetEase just released another Marvel Rivals update, bringing a new event. During the event, players can earn numerous cosmetic items, including a free Ultron skin. On top of this, the game developer has added more free Units that players can easily unlock.
After the latest update, players can earn Units by completing a match in a new Path to Doomsday: Avengers Age of Ultron PvE mode. In addition to that, more free Marvel Rivals Units can be obtained by visiting Times Square and taking a photo. All the rewards are available for a limited time.
How to get Units for free in Marvel Rivals after the Age of Ultron update
The Marvel Rivals developer has done a great job with PvE modes, so it’s no surprise that another one arrived on Thursday morning. This time, instead of fighting hordes of zombies, players need to defeat Ultron and his sentries. The mode is similar to Marvel Zombies, and it has several difficulty levels and a limited roster of heroes.
To earn the 200 Units, players need to defeat Ultron in the final stage of the new Marvel Rivals game mode on Normal difficulty. This reward can only be obtained once, although more rewards are available in the mode.

The new update also brought more content to Times Square. Players can watch highlights from Avengers: Age of Ultron on this map and take a photo recreating a fight scene from the movie. Taking a photo awards another 100 Units, and this task can be completed in under a minute.
This event will keep players busy until the release of Season 9.5 and The Hood, which is scheduled for Friday, August 7.
