How many live players does Marvel Rivals have?
With the release of the new season, Marvel Rivals hit a peak of 173,648 concurrent players. While Elsa Bloodstone is deemed one of the most powerful heroes ever added to the game, many players love using her and learning how to counter her.
However, the player count started trending up long before Elsa Bloodstone was released. During Season 4.5, the game hit its lowest point in terms of the player count. However, as soon as NetEase released Gambit in late 2025, the Marvel Rivals player count saw a significant increase.
That momentum carried into Season 5.5, helping the game close out 2025 strongly and enter 2026 with renewed interest.

After a couple of mediocre months, the number of active and concurrent players in Marvel Rivals is slowly rebounding, allowing it to better compete with Overwatch’s rising player numbers.
Since these figures only reflect Steam users, the total player count across all platforms is likely significantly higher. The hero shooter is also available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC through the Epic Games Store. Total peak numbers across platforms could approach half a million concurrent players, though official figures have not been released.
