Jubilee joined Marvel Rivals on Friday, and by Saturday, she was already buffed. Many players haven’t even had a chance to try her out before NetEase increased her capabilities. In general, new heroes are considered overpowered, yet that didn’t appear to be the case with a new Strategist.
Considering that the latest season brought numerous buffs and nerfs, releasing a few more isn’t a big deal. However, we can’t help but wonder what Jubilee would look like if she wasn’t updated so soon.
Jubilee received a massive buff on the first day of the new Marvel Rivals season
Jubilee was released on Friday, July 10, and less than 24 hours later, she received a significant buff. This buff makes her ultimate ability more frequent, allows her to use Blooming Ball more often, and improves her Team-Up with Blade.
- Reduce the energy cost of Firework Finale (Ultimate Ability) from 4500 to 4300.
- Reduce charge required for Blooming Ball from 300 to 250. Increase base healing from 30/s to 35/s (healing at max size, 50/s, remains unchanged.)
- When selecting the Team-Up with Blade, increase the Lifesteal ratio from 25% to 30%.
Thanks to these balance changes, Jubilee is now even more powerful in Marvel Rivals. Furthermore, her ultimate ability buff somewhat offsets the global buff which made ultimate ability charges slower.

Considering that NetEase has changed the majority of heroes with the last update, we don’t expect more balance changes soon. More of them will likely come with Season 9.5, which is scheduled to come out in early August. Overall, it appears that many players have enjoyed these changes, as the player count has significantly increased since they came out.
To make things even better, players can still grab a couple of free skins using Marvel Rivals codes. On top of that, it is still possible to unlock free Units.
