Marvel Rivals brings numerous balance changes with the release of Season 8. The new season will add Devil Dinosaur, a Vanguard, which NetEase recently confirmed. However, the biggest change will likely be the balance shift, which affects more than 10 heroes, including White Fox, who was released in Season 7.

All Marvel Rivals balance changes in Season 8
The upcoming season of Marvel Rivals seems to be focused on making heroes more powerful. NetEase has revealed 10 heroes who will receive buffs in Season 8, while only two of them will receive nerfs. However, it’s important to note that these are early details, as detailed patch notes will be released on Wednesday, two days before the season.
These are the 10 heroes who will be buffed in the next Marvel Rivals season:
- Rocket Raccoon
- Iron Fist
- White Fox
- Spider-Man
- Wolverine
- Moon Knight
- Star-Lord
- Squirrel Girl
- Emma Frost
- The Thing
On the other hand, Invisible Woman and Deadpool (Vanguard) will be nerfed.
The magnitude of these balance changes is currently unknown. Some heroes will likely receive big changes, which will drastically affect their pick rates, while others will be slightly affected. Fortunately, we will receive more information soon, including new team-up abilities and other changes.
Devil Dinosaur, who is a new hero, will likely have a seasonal bonus during the season. This bonus is unknown, but considering he is a Vanguard, it will most likely grant him bonus health or shield.
