Marvel Rivals modders have brought an entirely different universe into the fight. A wave of fan-made mods has added several characters from The Boys into NetEase’s hero shooter. These mods replace Marvel’s biggest heroes with their unhinged counterparts, making the game even more chaotic.
Instead of Steve Rogers as Captain America, the mod adds Soldier Boy. The Deep takes over duties over the ocean instead of Namor, summoning the seas and taking his opponents down with a trident. Perhaps the most surprising change is Black Noir over Iron Fist, replacing the martial arts master with a silent enigma.
Thanks to these Marvel Rivals mods, we can now see what it would look like if the two universes collided. So far, it looks chaotic and surprisingly fun.
The Boys have arrived in Marvel Rivals as an unoffocial modded crossover
The Boys characters in Marvel Rivals are purely cosmetic. Even if players select Soldier Boy as their hero, they will get access to Captain America’s abilities, such as Sentinel Strike and Freedom Charge. All the other stats, including movement speed and HP, will remain unchanged.
Despite these limitations, the mods still feel fresh and add a fun twist to the game.
So far, these are all the fully working mods for the game:

- A-Train (Black Panther)
- The Deep (Namor)
- Black Noir (Iron Fist)
- Homelander (Thor)
- Starlight (Invisible Woman)
Unfortunately, these mods are only available on a PC. Furthermore, it’s important to note that all these cosmetic mods are only client-side. This means that players can see The Boys only on their version of Marvel Rivals. Their teammates won’t be able to see any changes, as they will see original characters instead.
While these Marvel Rivals mods don’t seem to be bannable, players are advised to use them at their own risk.
For players who prefer the original content, NetEase has recently released several free cosmetics, including a free skin for Thor. Furthermore, Marvel Rivals codes currently offer two skins that can be redeemed in less than a minute.
