After a lengthy Summer Games Fest season, Nintendo has finally confirmed the date for its Nintendo Direct June 2026 showcase. The first major Direct in nine months, the upcoming showcase will reveal new games coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

While the recent slew of game announcements has proven that Nintendo Switch 2 can go the distance, even more game reveals are coming for Switch players. While we don’t know what games will appear at the conference, there will likely be updates for games such as Star Fox, Splatoon Raiders, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, and more.

Of course, to know what’s in the upcoming Nintendo Direct for June 2026, we first need to know when it actually starts. Thankfully, we have created a list of times for specific major time zones below.

How long is the Nintendo Direct June 2026 showcase?

In terms of Direct lengths, the Nintendo Direct June 2026 showcase is on the longer side. While some shows last for just 20 to 30 minutes, the upcoming showcase “will run for approximately 50 minutes”.

It’s not known if there will be any extended gameplay showcases for the conference, so we cannot tell how many announcements there will be. However, considering some prior shows, this should have a lot of reveals.

What to Expect

The Nintendo Direct June 2026 event will reveal new games for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. Alongside new reveals, Nintendo will deliver updates on previously announced titles as well as updates to the Nintendo Switch Online service.

An official Nintendo Store maintenance event is planned to occur two days after the event on June 11th. This could hint towards a major store overhaul for both systems that could be announced at the event.

After the showcase, a Nintendo Treehouse event will also go live on the same stream. This event will show revealed games in more detail, and could even have its own smaller reveals.
