The master of stealth and sarcasm is back. Cyanide Studio has officially confirmed that Styx: Blades of Greed will launch on February 19, 2026. This third installment in the cult stealth series sees our favourite green anti-hero venturing far beyond the Tower of Akenash to the floating trade-cities of the Seven Skies. The stakes are higher this time, as Styx isn’t just stealing for himself โ€“ heโ€™s embroiled in a massive heist involving a corrupt merchant guild and a legendary source of “Liquid Amber” that could change the world forever.

Platforms and Technical Specs

Styx is making the jump to current-gen so that the sprawling, vertical environments of the floating cities are fully realized. Styx: Blades of Greed will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (through Steam).

The game features an "Amber-Vision" mode that has been enhanced with Ray-Tracing on PS5 and Series X, allowing you to see the heat signatures and light levels of guards with stunning precision. PC players can look forward to full DLSS 3.5 support to maintain high framerates while journeying through the gameโ€™s complex, multi-layered levels.

Gameplay Features - What is Blades of Greed About?

The core loop remains pure "hardcore stealth," but Blades of Greed introduces the Greed System. This new mechanic forces players to choose between the safest path and the most lucrative one. Stealing more gold allows you to buy better gear and gadgets, but carrying a heavy loot bag makes Styx louder and slower, creating a brilliant risk-vs-reward dynamic.

Traversal has also been expanded. Styx now has a mechanical grappling claw (stolen, of course) that allows him to swing between the airships and docks of the trade-cities. This adds a layer of verticality that makes the previous games look like they were on flat ground.

New Quartz Powers imbue Styx with new powers. His new supernatural abilities include Mind Control and Time Shifting, which are fueled by the Quartz resource he is hunting.

Editions and Pricing

Cyanide has kept the pricing competitive for the third game in the series:

  • Standard Edition ($49.99 Console / $39.99 PC): Base game + Master of Shadows Skin (pre-order bonus).
  • Quartz Edition ($69.99 Console / $59.99 PC): Base game, 48-hour Early Access (starting Feb 17), Greedy Skin Pack (Quartz, Amber, and Gold skins), Legacy Skin Pack (Shards of Darkness outfits), Weapon Pack (3 daggers), and a Starter Pack (2 skill points/materials).
  • Styx: Master of Stealth Collection ($69.99): Includes everything in the Quartz Edition PLUS the full previous games (Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness).

Is There a Demo?

Currently, there is no public demo scheduled for Styx: Blades of Greed. However, those who pre-order on Steam will get access to the "Amber Trial" (a 48-hour early access window starting on February 17), allowing you to play the first two missions before the official release.
