If you’re wondering when the next Fortnite update will come, you’re in luck. Epic Games has revealed the release date of the next update, making the community excited for the future content. The next big patch will be the first one of Chapter 7 – Season 1, yet also the last one in 2025.
Epic usually takes a winter break in the second half of December, and we expect that to be the case this year as well. In the meantime, we have a lot of new content to look forward to, as the next update will bring the Winterfest event.
When will the next Fortnite update be released?
Epic Games posts interesting updates on its Trello board, including release dates of new updates. Thanks to this, we now know that the next Fortnite update will be released on Thursday, December 11. This will be the 39.10 patch, the first major update of Chapter 7 – Season 1.
The current Fortnite season will have six updates, with one of them being major and one being a content update. We expect the content update to come out in late December, as it will likely include a couple of new items.
