When will the next Fortnite update be released?

Epic Games posts interesting updates on its Trello board, including release dates of new updates. Thanks to this, we now know that the next Fortnite update will be released on Friday, January 9. This will be the 39.20 patch, the third update of Chapter 7 – Season 1.

The current Fortnite season will have six updates, with one of them being major and one being a content update. The next one will bring lots of new content, and potentially a controversial assault rifle.
