Here’s the exact WoW Midnight release date and launch time for every major time zone, including early access details.

World of Warcraft: Midnight countdown clock
Since time zones can be confusing, we prepared a countdown clock for the launch of World of Warcraft: Midnight. When the clock hits zero, you will be able to jump into the new expansion immediately.
World of Warcraft: Midnight early access
Players who purchase the Epic edition of World of Warcraft: Midnight get early access to the expansion on February 26. This version of the game also includes a couple of additional pets, flying mounts, decor, and a transmog set. Furthermore, it includes 30 days of game time, which is perfect to start off the Midnight adventure. World of Warcraft: Midnight Epic edition is priced at $89.99.
WoW Midnight early access launches at 6 PM Eastern Time. Check our countdown to see exactly when it becomes available in your region.
What is new in WoW: Midnight?
The upcoming WoW expansion brings more challenging raids, which will test the coordination of PvE players. Blizzard has also announced several major changes to existing in-game regions, such as Quel'Thalas. Several parts of this region, including Silvermoon City, will go through an overhaul.
If the redesign of the Blood Elves' capital goes well, the World of Warcraft creator could potentially redesign Orgrimmar and Stormwind, the two iconic capitals that have been in the game since its release in 2004.

Blizzard has more big plans for WoW, including a Northrend redesign and a character customization overhaul, but we will have to wait for at least a few more years to get all of this content.
New Features Showcase
Beyond the level cap increase to 90, here are the headline features:
- Player Housing: After decades of requests, Housing is officially here. Unlike the Garrisons of old, this system features freeform item placement (rotate, scale, and dye hundreds of items) and "Neighborhoods" where you can live alongside up to 50 other players.
- The Devourer (Demon Hunter Ranged DPS spec): Demon Hunters finally receive a third specialization. The Devourer is a mid-range DPS (roughly 25 yards) that uses Void-based spells and a "Void Scythe." It focuses on ripping soul fragments from enemies to fuel a Void-corrupted transformation.
- The "Prey" System: This opt-in outdoor activity introduces high-stakes chaos to the new zones. As you quest, you may be marked as "Prey," spawning powerful Void ambushers that scale in difficulty up to Nightmare. Defeating them rewards exclusive housing decor and currency.
- Rebuilt Silvermoon City: The Blood Elf capital has been completely remastered from the ground up. It is now a fully flyable, shared hub for both Horde and Alliance, featuring new districts like the Memorial Garden and the Sanctum of Light.
- Built-in UI Tools: Blizzard has integrated popular add-on functionality directly into the game. This includes a native Damage Meter, Boss Timers with ability timelines, and a customizable Cooldown Manager.
WoW: Midnight Editions and Pre-order Bonuses
Blizzard has stuck to its three-tier structure for Midnight. Additionally, if you already own The War Within, purchasing any edition will grant you immediate access to the Housing Early Access that began in December.
