The best Fortnite XP map right now is FortM (6163-6465-2983). It is also the fastest, as two NPC interactions in sequence pay out a large chunk of Creative XP in a couple of minutes. Every code below is listed with the method, how much attention it needs, and the date we last saw evidence it was working.
However, before you continue reading, it’s important to note that Creative XP varies by player, and Epic Games does not publish its cap. Players put it at 4 million to 4.8 million XP in Fortnite every week, or 50 to 60 Battle Pass levels. Thanks to this, you can complete the entire pass without playing a single Battle Royale match. Fortnite Creative Weekly XP cap resets every Tuesday at 9 AM Eastern Time.
We last checked and updated Fortnite XP maps on October 6, 2026.

The table below compares the best Fortnite XP maps. Active maps pay the fastest but need constant input, Semi-AFK maps run with light input after a short setup, AFK maps only need an input every few minutes, and Combat maps pay per elimination. XP speed compares the maps with each other, as Creative payouts are never a fixed amount.
| Map | Code | Type | XP speed] | Attention | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FortM | 6163-6465-2983 | Active | Very fast | High | Fastest single XP burst |
| Squid Game Tycoon | 5655-2869-7519 | Semi-AFK | Moderate | Medium | Long sessions |
| Xtreme Ramp Jump | 9465-4421-6613 | Active | Fast | High | Easy repeatable XP |

| Lyadoll Party | 7112-8777-0902 | AFK | Steady | Low | Low-effort campfire XP |
Donโt stay on the same map once the XP starts dropping noticeably. Creative XP payouts can fall after repeated runs, so I usually switch maps instead of going into another low-reward session.
How to use a Fortnite map code

- Open Fortnite and go to the Play tab from the main menu.
- Scroll down to the Search Discover field.
- Type or paste the 12-digit code, then search.
- Select the island from the results and hit Play.
Once you select the map, you can choose Public or Private matchmaking. Most Fortnite XP maps work with private matchmaking, but for some of them, you will have to switch to public. Being alone is not a magic XP multiplier, but it does stop people ruining your loop, which is a huge advantage.
Best Fortnite XP maps right now
1. FortM (6163-6465-2983)
- Type: Active
- XP speed: Very fast
- Attention: High
- Time requirement: Low
- Lobby: Private

FortM is an open-world roleplay island with crews, jobs, and a custom phone system, and it has been the best XP map across the entire community for months. The XP does not come from playing it properly. It comes from two crew interactions that can be done in only two minutes.
These are the steps you need:
- When you load in, pick GBA on the crew selection screen.
- Make your way to the GBA base and talk to the NPC there.
- Open your in-game phone, switch to a different crew, head to their HQ, and use the table.
The second interaction fires the larger payout. It is genuinely fast, and it is the closest thing this season has to a reliable burst. However, it may not grant you any XP if you gain more than three levels from the first one. Once you complete these interactions, you can restart the map and do it all over again, but you’ll receive less XP.
2. Squid Game Tycoon (5655-2869-7519)
- Type: Semi-AFK
- XP speed: Moderate
- Attention: Medium
- Time requirement: High
- Lobby: Private

Tycoon maps are the backbone of Creative XP farming, and this is the strongest one in rotation. Setup takes two or three minutes, then it largely runs itself. Almost every tycoon map grants XP through clickers, and our pick is Squid Game Tycoon.
Here are the steps you need to take to earn XP from it:
- Load in and claim a plot.
- Activate the clicker and swing your pickaxe at it to build starting funds.
- As soon as the weapon shop unlocks, swap the pickaxe for a gun.
- Reinvest in better weapons. The Harbinger SMG is the upgrade worth targeting.
- Add a dropper once you can afford one so income keeps generating.
As long as you keep shooting the clicker box, you will generate XP. The best part? You only need to unlock the weapons once. The next time you load into the map, your weapons will be waiting for you, so you won’t need to spend any time setting it up.
3. Xtreme Ramp Jump (9465-4421-6613)
- Type: Active
- XP speed: Fast
- Attention: High
- Time requirement: Low
- Lobby: Private

Xtreme Ramp Jump is one of the simplest XP maps in Fortnite. To gain XP from it, you only need to pick up gold coins from the starting area. You can do this task in less than a minute, after which you can restart the map and do it all over again.
This map is similar to FortM, but it takes less time to complete and also grants less XP. Still, it’s one of the quickest methods to gain XP if you need to gain a level fast. As with FortM, expect repeat runs to pay less each time.
4. Aim Training Edit 1v1 (2653-4796-4758)
- Type: AFK
- XP speed: Moderate
- Attention: Low
- Time requirement: Medium
- Lobby: Private

If you’re looking for the best AFK XP map in Fortnite, Aim Training Edit 1v1 is arguably the best choice. As soon as you enter the map, you will be able to enter the XP portal, and 10 seconds later, you can start earning XP. To do this, simply jump on the slide, and you’ll be able to earn experience without doing anything else.
This map is almost fully AFK, and the main thing you need to manage is Fortnite’s anti-AFK system. However, as long as you press a couple of buttons every few minutes, you should be good to go.
5. The Pit Free For All (4590-4493-7113)
- Type: Combat
- XP speed: Moderate to fast
- Attention: High
- Time requirement: Depends on your skill
- Lobby: Public

The Pit has been one of the most popular Fortnite maps since the Creative mode’s early days. In Chapter 7, it remains one of the highest-population islands in the game. Eliminations pay XP, respawns are instant, and the lobby never empties. Furthermore, you can choose between classic and Zero Build variants, and Zero Build has its own code (4496-8509-3370).
It will not beat a tycoon on XP per minute, unless you are skilled. However, it’s quite fun, and while it’s not a classic XP map, it allows you to sharpen up your Fortnite skills while quickly levelling up.
6. Prison Escape [Roguelike] (7300-0705-2924)
- Type: AFK
- XP speed: Steady
- Attention: Low
- Time requirement: Medium
- Lobby: Private

Prison Escape [Roguelike] is a co-op PvE island where up to five players clear 25 zombie-infested rooms and spend cash on permanent upgrades. It joins the list for its rest area, as the campfire there pays steady XP without any fighting.
To get the most out of this Fortnite XP map, follow a couple of easy steps:
- Load into the island and walk to the rest area.
- Sit by the campfire to start earning XP.
- Move your character every few minutes so the inactivity timer does not kick you.
The upgrades and stats you earn in the escape itself are saved between sessions, so the island also works as a proper game between campfire breaks.
7. Lyadoll Party (7112-8777-0902)
- Type: AFK
- XP speed: Steady
- Attention: Low
- Time requirement: Medium
- Lobby: Public or Private

Lyadoll Party is a social hub island that was called Lyadoll Party Royale until its update on September 30, 2026. Epic’s island page showed about 800 players on it when we checked, and the XP method needs no setup and no combat.
Take these steps to earn XP from the Lyadoll Party Creative map:
- Load into the island and head to its southern corner.
- Find the campfire behind the buildings and stand next to it.
- Move your character every few minutes so the anti-AFK system does not stop your XP.
You can also find coins scattered around the island for more XP.
How to tell if a Fortnite XP map is working
A code that paid well last week can pay far less today, as creators republish their islands and Epic Games recalibrates the XP every time they do. Run through these checks before you commit to a long session:
- The island looks right: Check that the name and creator are the ones you expect and that Fortnite’s own XP badge is showing. Epic’s Developer Rules stop creators from faking that badge or putting “XP” or “AFK” in an island’s name.
- XP shows up early: An XP notification should appear as soon as you complete the map’s XP trigger. If nothing happens, switch between Public and Private before you leave.
- The island was not just updated: Epic’s support pages say every new version of an island goes through XP calibration again, which takes a couple of hours on a busy map. Until then, XP comes mostly from time played.
- Other maps still pay: If payouts are low on every island, the map is not the problem. You have probably passed Epic’s Creative XP threshold, and switching maps will not fix it.
Do AFK XP maps still work?
AFK XP maps still work in Fortnite, but not the way most videos promise. Epic Games has implemented input detection in the game, which means that you need to actually use your controller or keyboard every once in a while. If you stay inactive for long enough, you will stop earning XP and eventually get kicked out of the match.
Every AFK map requires you to move your character every few minutes. Fortunately, this is not a big deal, as long as you can stay near your gaming device. Aim Training Edit 1v1 is our pick for the best Fortnite AFK XP map, with Prison Escape [Roguelike] and Lyadoll Party as the backups when its payouts shrink.
Are Fortnite XP maps safe, and can you get banned?
For creators, Epic’s Developer Rules are explicit. Breaching them escalates from a warning through reduced Discover visibility, disabled content, and loss of publishing privileges, up to a permanent account or monetization ban. Creators building islands that promise misleading XP are taking a real risk.
For players, the situation is different. There is no evidence of Epic banning players for loading published Creative islands and playing them as built. XP from these maps is granted by Epic’s own Accolades device on game servers. When a map becomes too efficient, the usual outcome is that its XP gets nerfed, and only in rare cases switched off.
Most so-called Fortnite XP glitch maps are ordinary Creative islands that use Epic’s Accolades device, so their payouts can be recalibrated or reduced at any time. Real exploits are different. Epic’s Community Rules tell players not to exploit bugs and glitches, so skip any method that asks you to break a map or use outside software.
What to do once you reach the Creative cap
While Creative is the most efficient way to earn XP, it’s not the only one. If your payouts from these Fortnite XP maps shrink to a trickle, you can use other modes to level up. Almost all the modes grant playtime XP, and here is how much you can approximately earn every minute:
| Mode | Rate |
|---|---|
| LEGO Brick Life | ~2,750 XP/min |
| Festival Jam Stage | ~2,850 XP/min |
| LEGO Odyssey | ~2,700 XP/min |
| Reload | ~2,000 XP/min |
| Battle Royale playtime | ~350 XP/min |
In addition to those, weekly quests remain some of the highest single payouts in the game and refresh every Thursday. If you struggle to complete them, you can enter bot lobbies, as playing against AI-controlled players is much easier. The playtime rates above come from community tracking, which also lists a weekly limit of about 4 million XP per mode.
October adds two more sources. Fortnitemares quests, which arrived with the Fortnite v42.30 update, pay 15,000 XP each so far, and finishing 26 of them by October 31 unlocks the free Jack-A-Nape skin. The Lobby Hack codes OverrideXP and WhoCrackedTheCode, entered through the lobby’s Admin Panel, were also paying a one-time 40,000 XP each at the time of writing.

FortM, code 6163-6465-2983. Two NPC interactions pay out a large chunk of Creative XP in only two minutes. Repeat runs pay less XP, so switch to Squid Game Tycoon (5655-2869-7519) for longer sessions.

Aim Training Edit 1v1 (2653-4796-4758) is our pick for the best AFK XP map in Fortnite right now. Enter the XP portal, jump on the slide, and press a couple of buttons every few minutes so the anti-AFK system does not stop your XP.
Creative XP maps are the fastest way to get XP in Fortnite while their payouts last, and FortM (6163-6465-2983) is the quickest of them. Once Creative XP slows down, Festival Jam Stage and LEGO Fortnite pay the most playtime XP, and weekly quests add 20,000 XP each.
Yes. Individual maps get nerfed or fall out of calibration, but Creative XP itself is an official Epic system and is not going anywhere. All seven maps on this list were live and awarding XP on October 6, 2026.
There is no evidence of players being banned for playing published Creative islands. Epic’s usual response to a generous map is to reduce its XP.
Most likely one of three things: the map is out of calibration after an update, you have triggered diminishing returns by repeating the same actions, or you have hit the weekly Creative cap.
One Battle Pass level is 80,000 XP. To complete 200 Battle Pass levels, you need roughly 16 million XP, or three to four weeks at the weekly limit players report. The Override Battle Pass ends on November 1, 2026.
