Embark has just released a new hotfix for Arc Raiders across all platforms that should eliminate the game’s latest annoying duplication glitch.

Rolling out right now, the Arc Raiders 1.25.0 Hotfix has been largely designed to remove a new version of the dupe exploit that allows players to clone items in their vault.

This is yet another release in a long line of hotfixes that aim to remove duping from the community, including last week’s hotfix. The devs have explained in the past that the continued discovery of dupe glitches from a design flaw that requires serious dev time to fix. However, the Arc Raiders team has publicly expressed its annoyance at players cheating within the game.

The devs explain that dupe glitches have “a real impact on the game’s economy and the way the community experienced Arc Raiders.” This is likely due to the fact that players are no longer careful about which loot they use if they can simply clone it all.

Alongside the dupe glitch fix, the new hotfix also aims to fix a crashing issue with the game on PlayStation 5. As a hotfix and not a full patch, you’ll download the fix as soon as you open the game with no large patch needed.

Additionally, with the release of this patch, Embark has delayed the game’s usual store rotation. “We’re also moving this week’s store rotation back by one more week and we’re sorry for the delay,” the developer said. “It will release at the same time as the next big update, so sleep with your boots on and get ready for Riven Tides!”

Riven Tides is the next major update for Arc Raiders, and the update’s release date is quickly approaching. The new update adds brand-new Arc foes and a new map to explore.
