Arc Raiders just released the 1.29 patch, and its notes reveal all the new content. The highlight of the update is a new trader, who brings exclusive rewards. On top of this, Embark has brought more cosmetics, bug fixes, and other extra content for players to enjoy.
After 16 million copies of Arc Raiders were sold, Embark will continue releasing new content on a weekly basis. However, major updates will drop only twice a year, as the developer will aim to release more meaningful updates.
Now, let’s take a look at everything new in the latest Arc Raiders patch.
Arc Raiders 1.29 patch brings a new trader with a level requirement
Arc Raiders introduces a new trader with the 1.29 patch. The trader offers unique weekly rotating rewards, Raider Tokens, and cosmetics in exchange for high-value loot. He also offers extra Stash space and an Expedition vault. However, the trader is not available to everyone, as he requires reaching level 25.
This level requirement is usually not a big deal for Arc Raiders players, many of whom have already met it. However, new players and those who don’t level up frequently will not have access to the trader right away.
Embark noted that the trader’s prices will be higher during the first week. The plan is to adjust them based on the player’s feedback.

The new Arc Raiders patch brings new cosmetics as well, which are now available in the shop. In addition, Embark has fixed some of the biggest bugs that have bothered players over the past few weeks.
Here is all the new content that arrived with the update:
- New weapon: The Rascal (Grenade Launcher)
- Mod Improvement: Extended Barrel
- End of Round Changes
- The Sandveil Set
- Facial Hair Style – Sideburns
