Fortnite has been fascinating over the past few days. We got to see the conclusion of The Simpsons season in the form of a live event, which was absolutely stunning. Shortly after, Epic Games released Chapter 7, but with a twist. At the moment, only the Battle Royale mode is available, and many players wonder when Blitz, Reload, OG, and Delulu modes will come back.
Fortunately, Epic has revealed the return dates of other Fortnite modes. Some of them will return in the first week of the new season, while for others, we’ll have to wait a bit longer.
When will other Fortnite modes return?
Blitz and Reload have been among the most popular game modes in Fortnite, while OG is mostly for those who prefer simpler and classic gameplay. Delulu has been a weekend-only mode, but unfortunately, it won’t be available in the first two weekends of Chapter 7. This is all caused by the Dark Voyager destroying the Battle Bus at the end of the event.
Fortunately, Blitz and Reload will return within a few days, while Fortnite OG and Delulu will be available a week after.
| Fortnite mode | Return date |
|---|---|
| Blitz | Thursday, December 4 |
| Reload | Thursday, December 4 |
| OG | Thursday, December 11 |
| Delulu | Friday, December 12 |
It appears that the Battle Bus will be partially functional in just a few days, and will be available in two fast-paced modes. In the meantime, the surfing mechanic will remain active in the Battle Royale mode, although Epic may remove it later in the season.
