Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, set to release in mid-August, could be another huge season for the game. Despite the season being weeks away, an early leak has given us a lot of exciting details about it.
According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, the next season is expected to have a Gaming Legends theme. This could bring several iconic gaming franchises to Fortnite, including Sonic, Persona 5, Mega Man, and Kingdom Hearts. The leaker shared a list of all the potential collaborations, showing everything Epic may have prepared.
The next Fortnite season may have a Gaming Legends theme
Hypex shared a list of collaborations that are either leaked or confirmed to be coming to Fortnite. Several of them have already been confirmed in some capacity, while the rest are still based on insider information. With Fortnite growing once again, the upcoming collabs could further increase the player count and positively impact the playerbase.
These are the collaborations currently connected to the leak:
Confirmed collaborations:
- Sonic
- Kakao Games
- Kernel Hearts
- Ember & Blade
- Kingdom Hearts
- Vampire Survivors
Leaked collaborations:
- Persona 5
- Mega Man
- Marvel Tokon
- Crash Bandicoot
It is important to note that a confirmed collaboration is not necessarily confirmed for Chapter 7 Season 4. Some of these crossovers may arrive before the season begins, while others could be released later through the Item Shop, special events, or separate promotions.
However, the number of gaming collaborations connected to Fortnite supports the possibility of a Gaming Legends-themed season. Epic Games has released many video game characters under the Gaming Legends Series in the past, including Kratos, Master Chief, Lara Croft, and characters from Street Fighter.
A Sonic Fortnite skin would likely be one of the biggest additions from the leaked lineup. The iconic Sega character has been requested by Fortnite players for years, although it remains unclear how Epic would adapt his design into a playable skin.
For now, Epic Games has not officially announced the Chapter 7 Season 4 theme or its Battle Pass. However, as we are approaching its release date, we will likely get more details soon. The season is scheduled to be released on August 19, 2026.
While waiting for the new season, players can check out the latest free Fortnite skins, which are available for a limited time. Furthermore, Fortnite XP maps offer a quick and easy way to level up and unlock Battle Pass cosmetics before the current season ends.
