After more than five years, Fortnite has returned to iPhone and iPad. Epic Games spent years battling Apple in court before ultimately winning the legal fight. While the battle royale game returned to iOS in some regions before, it is now available again in most regions around the world.
To celebrate the big return, Fortnite is offering a free skin for a limited time. The skin can be obtained by playing the game on a mobile device, and it may not be released in the Item Shop.
Fortnite is back on iOS worldwide
On Tuesday, Epic Games officially announced Fortnite’s return to the iOS system. The game is available in almost every single country, with the exception of Australia. While the Fortnite creator has won its court case against Apple in this Oceanian country, the game hasn’t been allowed to return to the App Store yet.
The release date in Australia is currently unknown. However, considering that the game returned to Android earlier this year, there is a good chance that it will happen at some point in 2026.
For now, players can unlock a free Yeddy skin by playing Fortnite on a mobile device. The skin is available on every mobile device, including Android phones, and can be unlocked by completing a limited-time quest.
In the meantime, Fortnite players can unlock even more free skins. Most of these skins are available for a limited time, so players are advised to unlock them as soon as possible. Furthermore, players can use some of the best XP maps in Fortnite to level up quickly and unlock cosmetics from the Battle Pass.
