Adding Deadpool to Marvel Rivals has been a fantastic move by NetEase. Since the Merc with a Mouth was added to the hero shooter, its player count skyrocketed, peaking at more than 100,000 concurrent players on Steam every day. However, the hero’s launch has brought a couple of issues, and the game developer just fixed the most annoying one.

One of the biggest complaints players have had about Deadpool was the chatter with Galacta. Thankfully, that is no longer a problem after the latest update. Earlier this month, NetEase fixed Deadpool’s visual clutter, making the character much better.

Deadpool and Galacta will no longer be heard by everyone in Marvel Rivals

Deadpool specializes in breaking the fourth wall, so it’s no surprise that NetEase gave him this ability in Marvel Rivals. The Duelist is the first and only character who can interact with Galacta, an in-game announcer. The two of them engage in constant banter, which is a fun addition.

At first, many players enjoyed the constant fourth-wall breaking, but it became too annoying too quickly. Not only did Deadpool and Galacta talk to each other almost constantly, but their chatter was heard by everyone in the lobby. Fortunately, that is no longer an issue.

With the latest update, the Marvel Rivals developer reduced how often Deadpool and Galacta banter during matches. Now, only the player controlling Deadpool hears their chatter, minimizing distractions for others and creating a better experience for both Deadpool players and the rest of the lobby.
