NetEase has added plenty of new content to Marvel Rivals over the past week, releasing a new season and Deadpool. The new hero has been fun to use, as he’s the first character who can switch roles. The game developer has already prepared a new hero for February, and we might already know a few other characters that will come in the future.

Marvel Rivals Season 7 heroes may have already been revealed, as NetEase hinted at them in the new Battle Pass. However, we might also get a unique hero later this year, as Hive appeared in the new issue of the Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic.

Hive might come to Marvel Rivals later this year

The Marvel Rivals roster for the early 2026 has already been locked in. Deadpool came out earlier this month, while Elsa Bloodstone is set to be released with Season 6.5. Season 7 will likely feature White Fox and Black Cat, which should both come out in March and April.

The rest of the Marvel Rivals roster remains unknown, but there is a good chance that Hive will be a new hero. The super villain was shown in the latest Infinity Comic, which also features Winter Soldier and Hawkeye.

If added to Marvel Rivals, Hive could be a Vanguard. His speciality could be area tanking and debuffs, while his ultimate would make him nearly invincible.

Considering that Hive could be added in Season 8, we could get more details about him in late April or early May. For now, this is just speculation, though we hope the villain is a new character, as he would be fun to play. NetEase has hinted at adding more villains to the roster, and Hive would certainly be the right choice.
